Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using manual and mechanical methods.

• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and equipment.

• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines according to safety and hygiene standards.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas.
• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, such as wiping counters and disposing of trash.
• Follow hotel safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Support kitchen staff during peak service times as needed.

Required Skills

While previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen roles is advantageous, the most critical skills are effective communication (basic English required) and the safe handling of kitchen tools. This active role requires standing, moving freely, and occasionally lifting up to 70 pounds.
