Position Summary:
As an Outlet Host, you are the first point of contact for our guests in the dining outlet. Your warm and welcoming demeanor sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. Join our team and be the friendly face that creates a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Ensure accurate and efficient guest reservations and seating assignments.
- Communicate with the outlet team to manage table turnover and waitlist efficiently.
- Address guest inquiries, special requests, and dietary restrictions with care and attention.
- Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, alerting staff to any issues.
- Assist with the coordination of special events, parties, or group reservations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Keep track of guest counts and assist in maintaining waitlists during busy periods.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, maintain accurate checks, and provide guests with receipts.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to assist guests effectively.
- Bid farewell to guests and thank them for choosing our outlet as they depart.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
- Ability to remain composed and friendly in high-pressure situations.
- Basic computer skills for reservation and payment processing.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
