Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other guest-facing spaces.
  • Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors as needed.
  • Dust, clean, and polish furniture, fixtures, and metalwork.
  • Clean walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness of poolside and other hotel service areas.
  • Collect and properly dispose of trash and soiled linen.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and restock supplies as needed.
  • Stock linen closets and floor pantries with clean linen and supplies.
  • Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other requested items to guest rooms.
  • Assist Room Attendants with housekeeping duties when needed.
  • Report lost and found items, maintenance concerns, damages, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Respond to guests and fellow TEAM members in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner.
  • Follow all hotel and housekeeping standards, safety procedures, and dress code requirements.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by housekeeping leadership.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of the TEAM.
Requirements
  • Previous hotel housekeeping or similar experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Previous branded hotel experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a TEAM.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • English communication skills required; ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
