About the Opportunity

Canopy by Hilton New Orleans offers an exciting opportunity for an accomplished General Manager to lead a dynamic property in one of the country's most vibrant hospitality markets. We are seeking a hands-on, commercially minded leader who knows how to inspire teams, elevate the guest experience, and drive strong operational and financial performance.

As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the hotel's operations, financial results, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and strategic direction. What You'll Do

• Provide overall leadership and direction for hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and brand standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop the executive leadership team and hotel associates.
• Drive financial performance, including revenue, profitability, labor management, and expense controls.
• Partner closely with Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management to maximize hotel performance and market share.
• Maintain strong guest satisfaction and associate engagement scores.
• Build relationships within the New Orleans business, tourism, and community markets.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton standards, company policies, and all applicable regulations.
• Analyze operating results and develop strategies to improve performance and profitability.
• Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, recognition, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a highly visible ambassador for the hotel and the Canopy brand.

What We're Looking For

• Proven success as a Hotel General Manager, ideally within a full-service or lifestyle hotel environment.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial management, sales, and revenue strategy.
• Hilton or comparable major-brand experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into action.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• A hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Experience in a competitive urban or destination hotel market is a plus.
