The Banquet Cook will prepare and cook hot menu items for banquets and catered events according to established recipes and standards; assist with food preparation including portioning, seasoning, and cooking of meats, vegetables, and starches; execute banquet orders in a timely manner to meet event schedules and service timelines; maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, equipment, and storage areas; follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines; work collaboratively with culinary and banquet teams to ensure seamless event execution; and assist with setup and breakdown of banquet kitchen operations as needed.

Key job requirements and duties:

Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience within a full-service hotel property or full-service restaurant environment experience required
Ability to property use kitchen tools & equipment and follow recipes properly and in a timely manner
Experience preparing hot food items required
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
