Description

• Developing and updating pastry recipes to enhance menu offerings and meet customer preferences.
• Supervising and training junior kitchen staff to ensure high standards of pastry preparation and presentation.
• Managing inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed.
• Coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Creating visually appealing dessert displays for special events and occasions to attract customers
• Monitoring and adjusting baking processes to achieve optimal texture and flavor in all pastry items.
• Meeting sales targets by developing seasonal and promotional pastry items that drive customer interest.
• Experimenting with new techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations to innovate and improve pastry offerings.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
