Part-Time Night Auditor / Guest Service Agent (GSA) – Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our front office team as a Part-Time Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent (GSA). This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys both guest interaction and back-office responsibilities, with a focus on overnight operations.

Night Auditor Duties/ Guest Service Agent (GSA) Duties:

• Perform nightly audit processes for the hotel’s financial records and daily transactions.

• Reconcile daily revenue, verify balances, and prepare management reports.

• Post charges and payments to guest accounts accurately.

• Close out the current day’s operations and roll over to the next business day.

• Ensure the accuracy of room rates, taxes, and guest folios.

• Greet, check in, and check out guests with professionalism and courtesy.

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.

• Handle phone calls, reservations, and room assignments.

• Assist with special guest needs (wake-up calls, directions, amenities, etc.).

• Monitor property security and ensure guest safety during night hours.

• Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in front desk, night audit, or hospitality is preferred.

  • Strong math and computer skills; familiarity with hotel PMS PEP is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.

  • Must be dependable, punctual, and detail oriented.

• Working Conditions:

  • Overnight shift and some afternoon/evenings shifts.

  • Standing for extended periods; light lifting may be required.

  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
