The DoubleTree by Hilton Racine Harbourwalk is the only lakefront hotel offering outstanding water views, full-service amenities such as; 121 guestrooms, (2) meeting rooms with on-site catering, fitness room, indoor pool and whirlpool and attached Corner House on the Lake Restaurant.  The hotel completed extensive renovations and updates in September 2016.

Sales Associate

Job Description:

Minimum two years hospitality experience or hospitality college degree preferred.

Desire to meet people and enjoy assisting with group requests to facilitate a booked meeting, event or group block with a wonderful outcome

Interested to work with meeting planners and brides in capturing all their future event or room block details with professionalism and accuracy

Experience in sales and/or catering in hospitality industry

Assist client details such as; room blocks, reservations, meeting room, catering and av needs

Work with all departments to communicate client/group needs in order to prepare and exceed the guest's hotel needs

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Attention to details, organization skills and timely response to all inquiries

Experience in Facebook and other social media communications

Business attire and present oneself in professional, friendly manner

Provide hotel site tours, proposals and contracts upon client's request

Reach weekly/monthly sales goals presented by DOS regarding, sales calls, site tours, group rooms revenue, catering revenue

Communicate in positive manner with all hotel staff and departments

Assist in accepting group payment and postings

Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience preferred with Hilton OnQ reservation system and Delphi.fdc

Experience in Microsoft Publisher but not required

Requirements:

40-hour work week, Tuesday - Saturday, but hours may change to some evening hours or longer weekends when needed by visiting groups and/or events. 

Must be flexible, hours may vary.

Hourly wage based upon experience.

Doubletree by Hilton brand standards and sales training

High school graduate

Valid Driver's license
