Job Summary:

Hampton Inn & Suites Riverside/Corona East is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager who enjoys supporting a team, connecting with guests, and helping a hotel succeed.

The General Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast service, staffing, and financial management. Our ideal candidate is an approachable, organized leader who leads by example, encourages teamwork, and creates a welcoming environment for guests and employees while supporting the hotel’s operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide daily operations to maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained hotel.

• Recruit, train, and coach team members to meet service and performance standards.

• Foster a positive work environment through clear communication, teamwork, and employee development.

• Manage budgets, staffing, purchasing, and expenses with attention to service quality and financial performance.

• Collaborate with sales and revenue management to support occupancy, room rates, and revenue growth.

• Review guest feedback, respond thoughtfully to concerns, and work with the team to improve the guest experience.

• Maintain Hilton and Hampton brand standards and help the team prepare for inspections and quality reviews.

• Oversee accurate payroll, invoice processing, cash handling, and reporting in accordance with company policies.

• Work closely with ownership and operations leadership, sharing updates on hotel performance, staffing, and property needs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Previous hotel management experience; General Manager experience strongly preferred.

• Hilton or Hampton brand experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of hotel financial statements, budgeting, staffing, and operational procedures.

• A supportive leadership style and a commitment to guest service and team development.

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility to support hotel operations, including weekends, holidays, and occasional urgent needs.
