Hotel Houseman / Lobby Attendant 

We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Houseman / Lobby Attendant to support our housekeeping team and maintain clean, safe, and welcoming public areas throughout the hotel. This role ensures guests enjoy a comfortable environment while assisting room attendants with essential daily tasks. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including the lobby, entrances, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and meeting spaces. 

• Vacuum, mop, dust, wipe surfaces, clean windows/glass, and remove fingerprints or smudges from doors and fixtures. 

• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and restock restroom supplies. 

• Keep entrances free of litter, debris, and hazards such as snow. 

• Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to housekeeping carts and storage areas. 

• Remove dirty linens and trash from guest room floors; strip checkout rooms when assigned. 

• Assist room attendants with lifting, moving furniture, and special cleaning projects. 

• Restock housekeeping closets with linens, amenities, and cleaning products. 

• Deliver guest‑requested items such as towels, pillows, blankets, cribs, rollaway beds, and toiletries. 

• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly. 

• Support deep‑cleaning projects and room inspections as directed. 

• Greet guests professionally, respond promptly to requests, and maintain a positive, helpful attitude. 

• Protect guest privacy and follow all safety, chemical‑handling, and lifting procedures. 

• Wear required uniform and PPE and follow brand standards and housekeeping guidelines.

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

• Previous hotel or housekeeping experience helpful but not required. 

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service. 

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
