Job Title: AM Server / Banquet Captain

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and service-driven AM Server / Banquet Captain to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn. This dual-role position is responsible for delivering exceptional breakfast service while also leading banquet functions to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

AM Server Duties:

• Provide friendly, attentive breakfast service to hotel guests
• Set up and maintain the dining area, buffet, and beverage stations
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure timely service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly

Banquet Captain Duties:

• Oversee banquet events from setup through breakdown
• Coordinate with kitchen and staff to ensure smooth service
• Work & Supervise banquet team members and delegate responsibilities
• Ensure event spaces are set according to client specifications
• Provide high-level customer service during events and address guest needs
• Monitor inventory weekly and assist with Food / Supply ordering as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous serving and/or banquet experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
