The Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Center is looking for a friendly and dependable Part-Time Night Auditor to join the team. Night Auditors are responsible for posting and balancing charges as well as resetting the property management system for next day operation and maintaining data accuracy. Night Auditors are responsible for Front Desk duties including checking in/out reservations and providing satisfactory guest service.

Night Auditors work overnight from 11pm – 7am and must be able to work Wednesday and Thursdays. Hilton and PEP experience preferred but not required. Must be able to learn and accurately use the property management system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects such as accounts receivable accounts payable, etc.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
• Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner.  This involves listening to the nature of concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to understand and communicate with employees and guests.  Must have excellent telephone etiquette skills.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously performs essential job functions.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds maximum.
• Occasional twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking.
• Frequent talking, hearing, seeing and smiling
