Role Overview

You’ll lead our maintenance operations, ensuring our hotel's infrastructure—from HVAC to life safety systems—runs seamlessly. Your leadership will foster a safe, comfortable environment, aligned with safety and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to conduct daily inspections, identifying maintenance needs.
• Be on-call 24/7 to tackle urgent issues, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Manage maintenance requests through our digital platform efficiently.
• Supervise and perform maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and more.
• Maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule across all areas.
• Track inventory and manage the departmental budget to align with company objectives.
• Oversee vendor contracts for various services, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Ensure the property’s exterior and grounds are visually appealing and well-maintained.
• Coordinate with inspectors to guarantee regulatory compliance.
• Hire, train, and guide maintenance staff to achieve efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Chief Engineer or 2–3 years as a facility engineer in hospitality or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance programs and digital platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration and guest interaction.
• Ability to lead a team in a hands-on environment.
• Flexible schedule availability, including on-call duties.
• EPA Universal Certification or CPO certification is a plus.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in diverse environments, from tight spaces to outdoor areas.
