Position Summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Riverside/Corona East is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead hotel sales efforts and grow our presence in the Corona/Riverside market. This role is ideal for a hotel sales professional with strong relationship-building skills, proactive outreach experience, and preferably Hilton system knowledge (OnQ, GRO, Delphi/Hilton-integrated tools, etc.).

You will be responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and driving revenue across key segments—including corporate, group, and local negotiated business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to meet room night and revenue goals

• Source and secure new business from corporate accounts, group bookings, and local partners

• Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, and networking activities to generate leads

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and community organizations

• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage group blocks following Hilton brand standards

• Collaborate with the General Manager and Revenue Management to optimize rates and inventory

• Maintain accurate account details and activity logs within the hotel’s designated sales/CRM system

• Track market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth

• Participate in weekly sales meetings, forecasting, and business reviews

• Represent Hampton Inn & Suites at local events, trade shows, and industry functions

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hotel sales experience preferred

• Prior Sales Manager or Senior Sales Coordinator experience strongly preferred

• Hilton system knowledge (OnQ, Hilton sales tools) strongly preferred

• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and build strong client relationships

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales/CRM platforms

• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events/industry activities
