As Senior Area Business Transient (BT) Sales Manager you will play a vital role in driving revenues and fostering strong relationships with corporate clients at two of our award winning and results oriented establishments Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown River North and Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile.

In this role you will: 

You will supply critical analysis on the effect of short-range decisions effecting occupancy, average rate and rooms profit goals within the current 53-week (Netrez/OnQ PMS) period. Analysis of city events and activities and to project the effect of opportunities they create. Monitor competitive analysis. Promoting our property, negotiating contracts, and exceeding sales targets. Driving revenues and RevPAR through inventory control, market segment pricing, statistical analysis and demand stimulating initiatives. 

Requirements to be successful in this role:

• Proven 3+ years BT Sales Manager experience in a Hilton brand or luxury hotel 
• Hilton brand and Netrez / OnQ PMS and OnQ RMS related experience highly desired
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality or related field
• Proven track record in revenue management and previous hospitality experience required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to travel locally and domestically for purposes of meetings and trainings
• Must be flexible on evenings and weekends for business reasons, including attending social functions, training classes etc.
• Maintains professionalism at all times, demonstrating courtesy and respect to all guests and coworkers
• Ability to stand and move throughout the hotel property and continuously perform essential job functions

Salary range for the position is $90K per year.
