Job Role
Lead and inspire our front desk team by assigning, instructing, and supporting Guest Service Agents and Operators while ensuring seamless daily operations. Resolve guest concerns with creativity and care, making decisions that prioritize exceptional experiences and hotel success. Monitor team performance, provide coaching and development opportunities, and serve as the heart of our lobby operations where every interaction matters.
What You'll Do
Lead with Purpose
  • Assign and instruct Guest Service Agents and Operators in details of work
  • Monitor performance of staff with performance check ins and discipline issues, making recommendations for training when inconsistencies develop at the front desk
  • Observe performance and encourage improvement while monitoring lobby traffic to make staffing adjustments accordingly
Drive Operations Excellence
  • Manage front desk operations by completing a checklist of important daily tasks, determining room and rate availability and making decisions that are in the best interest of the hotel
  • Assist Guest Service Agents, Operators, Reservation Agents, and other departments with any questions or requests
Create Memorable Guest Experiences
  • Resolve customer complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and the most effective resolution
  • Authorize revenue allowances to remedy problems only after alternative solutions have been offered
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
  • One year combined Front Desk and Supervisory experience in hospitality or related industry preferred 
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information to resolve conflicts
  • Ability to listen effectively and comprehend the English language to understand and obtain instructions and information
  • Ability to see and hear in order to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
