The Hampton Inn Rehoboth Beach is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, account management, and business development within the leisure and resort destination industry. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing key client relationships, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the sales effort to enhance performance and drive results.
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base through proactive business development efforts.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sales activities, manage accounts, and analyze market trends.
• Familiarity with Hilton Proprietary Operating Systems.
• Facilitate Marketing effort along with General Manager to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns and market positioning.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to leadership.

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Excellent account management capabilities with a focus on customer service excellence.
• In-depth knowledge of Rehoboth and Coastal Delaware leisure market dynamics.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
• Character traits include strength of reliability, consistency, exuberant attitude, exemplary follow-through in all aspects of the role.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals.
