We need someone who fits the description below to join our team as a Housekeeper. In this position, you would be responsible for cleaning your assigned areas of the hotel.

Essential Elements

• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Ability to push and/or pull a loaded cart weighing approximately 50-75 pounds.
• Ability to lift and move approximately 30 pounds.
• Ability to constantly lift and move approximately 20-25 pounds including setting and storing in overhead areas.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach on a regular basis.
• Ability to carry out all safety and emergency procedures, i.e.: fire emergency, etc.
• Ability to stand and walk on a continuous basis, and run as warranted.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring sustained repetitive motion and/or fine motor skills.
• Ability to read or understand diagrams and count accurately.

Job Tasks

• Cleans assigned areas of the hotel in a professional and timely manner.
• Restock all supplies needed.
• Minimizes waste and spoilage by practicing designated product rotation and storage systems.
• Informs management of any immediate need for supplies.
• Maintains clean and safe public and working areas at all times.
• Handles chemicals and cleaning supplies as directed.
• Reports all incidents and accidents to management

Qualification Standards

Experience:

• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Restaurant/Banquet experience helpful.
