About the Role: As Executive Meeting Manager, you will work directly with clients planning events and meetings creating an enjoyable and memorable guest experience from start to finish ensuring a positive lasting impression.  Serve as the primary liaison between the sales team and the staff while focusing on the client's expectations.  

In this role you will provide administrative support to the sales and management TEAM by generating group contracts, ensure sales objectives/targets are met, and maintain a lasting relationship with clients. Will work closely and report to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities: The Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for discussing and coordinating all details of an event with the client and communicating this information through respective hotel department heads after the sales contract has been signed. S/he also will ensure that any catering related goals and groups with their needs are coordinated. Solicitation, selling and contracting rooms for assigned market in coordination with transient demand patterns and existing group business to maximize hotel room and related revenue.  Execute outside and inside sales solicitation to grow new group business. 

Requirements: 

  • Hotel experience in hotel conference planning/services, sales, or banquet management  
  • Knowledge of Delphi, PMS, MS Outlook, and Excel is preferred 
  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business management is preferred, or equivalent work experience 
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail 
  • Strong organizational skills to facilitate the coordination of all departments in fulfilling the client's requests 
  • Proven record of accomplishment for sales conversion and exceeding established revenue goals 
  • Must have effective communication and organizational skills
