Set up and prepare breakfast items as directed. Prepare food, restock buffet stations, clear tables, and converse with guests in a friendly and service centric manner. At the end of service, breakdown buffet station, clean breakfast area and ensure kitchen is clean. Prepare stock for the following day and submit weekly orders to the management.
Perform preventative maintenance on hotel property. This includes ensuring all work orders are completed regarding basic painting, carpeting, plumbing, and electrical.
Provide excellent service to guests throughout their stay. Make reservations, check guests in/out, answer all incoming calls, respond to any guests’ requests, and solve issues quickly. Share information about hotel amenities and make recommendations about surrounding area.
The Chief Engineer is responsible for all administrative, financial, and operating aspects of the hotel as they directly relate to the engineering division. He/she is responsible for the safe and profitable operation of the hotel.
