To serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction. Also, to prepare beverages for other server to supply to guests, and act as cashier for the lounge.
Process payments of hotel bills after verifying that all documents are accurate as to items, price, extensions and proper receiving and approval by the department head.
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on all hotel equipment including kitchen, plumbing, pool, HVAC, boiler, work areas and guest rooms. The Engineer will use communication and guest service skills to interact with guests and respond to all room calls as necessary. To keep everything in order, the Engineer will maintain proper records of the Rooms Preventive Maintenance Program and Request Program. To succeed in this position, you should be able to stand for periods of 8-10 hours, be able to bend, squat and stretch in areas of limited space and be able to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English. While not required, HVAC, electrical and plumbing experience is preferred.
Balance room, restaurant, and bar daily work. Post and balance charges and settlements in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain files and reset the systems for next-day operations. In addition, works as a front desk agent during shift as needed. Greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and closes out guest accounts upon completion of stay, as well as ensuring the guest has an exceptional stay, to meet the hotel’s high standards of quality.
